A huge thank-you to the South Saskatchewan Community Foundation for helping us out with a grant to improve the access to technology for residents across our programs! With so many things happening virtually these days, this grant allowed us buy tablets that can be used for virtual appointments, groups, and entertainment.
These tablets have been invaluable to our residents, especially during times where they’ve needed to isolate. They’ve been able to use them to stay connected and entertained when they’ve been confined to their apartment for long periods of time. While nothing beats true face-to-face connections, having access to these tablets offers an alternative for when that’s not possible!
The Resident Enhancement Project is supported by the Government of Canada’s Emergency Community Support Fund and South Saskatchewan Community Foundation.
