Phoenix Intensive Program Services (PIPS)

  • geared toward clients living in the community in various locations (on their own, Salvation Army, Approved Homes) who frequently or consistently have difficulty maintaining their household; managing their finances, medication, hygiene, and personal health; and who may have legal issues, difficulty avoiding putting self at risk and problematic substance use & potential for homelessness
  • high level of collaboration with existing resources & community supports including police services related to crisis intervention and crisis response
  • services and supports provided are intended to reduce use of acute care resources and maintain housing placement
  • focus is stabilization of high needs clients in the community
  • services based on Needs Assessment and Wellness Plan
  • staff support is available Monday – Friday from 8:30-5:00pm
