The Lovering Place is a 36-unit facility that provides 24 hour supportive housing to
persons with mental health and addiction issues who are precariously housed or
previously homeless, and serves those who have a low or medium acuity.
Lovering Place uses a trauma informed and person centred approach, along with harm
reduction principles, to help residents work towards recovery. Nursing support is
available 24 hours per day, along with Social Worker Case Managers, Support Workers,
and a Cultural Liaison.
Lovering Place offers a meal program, skill teaching, and a variety or programming
depending on the needs and interests of the residents. The facility is non-smoking.
Referrals are accepted through Coordinated Access Regina and are dependent on
SPDAT score and need for the level of service. Referrals may be accepted through
other avenues as long as the level of need for service is appropriate.
